When Susheel Jain and Teddy White began working with Third Party Administrators and Employers they discovered that the investment in care and cost benefit programs/ interventions was typically not living up to expectations. While many of these benefit programs such as prior-authorization review, patient assistance and other manufacturer subsidized member opportunities among others on both the pharmacy and medical sides seemed compelling however when implemented somehow the value was being diluted. They recognized that member benefits can be complex leading to difficulties navigating which resulted in minimal participation and low single digit return on investment. 

In the Fall of 2019 they set out to leverage modern technology to develop a proprietary single, integrated digital platform that would serve to maximize the value from member benefits and dramatically improve the process of managing health. What makes this Initiative unique is Exouza’s use of Artificial Intelligence to quantify the value from each member eligible program, sequence engagement in prioritized order and then manage participation such that the member and employer achieve the maximum value from member’s unique experience.
